It has been five weeks for Kai-Feng (MERC) Chinese School being in session since the school began in September. In the past weeks, we have accomplished several activities with the collaborative effort from MERC staff, teachers, PTA and all of the parents.

Stonebrae Back to School Night 9/20 - MERC Staff, Teachers & PTA 5. PTA Welcome Party 9/29 – PTA, Connie, Rachael, Marcela & All MERC Parents 6. Tasty Fundraiser 9/29 - PTA, Regina and Amy 7. Fire Drill 10/6 – PTA, Marcela We are thankful to all of the MERC teachers, parents and students who have worked so hard to make every activity a success. We would also like to remind you for the upcoming event, School Picture Day, this Saturday, 10/13. Our volunteer parent photographers, leading by Stephen Kwok, will take a group picture for each class. The pictures taken on the Picture Day will be collected in this year’s MERC yearbook. In addition to taking group pictures of students, our photographers will also take pictures for teachers and parent volunteers. Please don’t miss this event.
