MERC Art Classes Students Showcases @ Art Exhibition

MERC Chinese School is invited to participate in the Children’s Spring Time Art Exhibition at the Law Library in Alameda County. This invitation is possible because of Ms. Ruey Syrop’s recommendation. The exhibition will run from March to April, 2017. This is a wonderful opportunity for our art class students to showcase their creativity and skills in the community event.

Although the art exhibition is still a few months away, MERC Art instructors, Ms. Ruey, Ms. Christina and Ms. Megan, have started preparing the art class students with necessary skills in order to produce quality artwork. This year, Ms. Ruey teaches Chinese Calligraphy & Brush Painting class, Ms. Christina teaches Drawing & Mixed Media Painting, and Ms. Megan teaches Children's Arts and Crafts. We greatly appreciate their time and dedication. 

The student who intends to sign up for the drop-in classes must let the school know a week in advance, so that the instructor can prepare the art supplies for them.  The class time is scheduled at 10:35-11:25, and 11:30-12:20.  A $15.00 fee will be for the drop-in class, and the material fee will be determined by the instructor of each class. For more details of the art exhibition and drop-in art classes, please check with the Information Desk.

春季藝術展覽  

Alameda 縣法律圖書館與林瑞芳老師邀請凱風中文學校學生參加春季藝術展覽。此展覽由三月至四月二零一七年。本校的藝術課學生可於社區活動中展示他們的創造力。非常感謝林瑞芳老師、黃貞琳老師與 Megan Hickman教導我們的學生中國書法、水墨畫、與其他美術課程。

有興趣偶訪者請一週前通知學校以便準備材料。課程時間為 10:35am - 11:25 與 11:30am - 12:20pm。每班偶訪費為 $15。材料費將由老師決定。
