Dear MERC Families,

I am writing this email with a very heavy heart!

Kevin San, a 16-year-old boy was killed on his way to school last Friday in San Francisco.  Kevin's family minivan was rear-ended by a SUV going 80 mph on a local street.  Kevin's sister is seriously injured and his mother is still in a coma.

Kevin San was a nephew of our very own MERC family - the family of Dennis Ho and Cheryl Yee.  Dennis has setup a memorial fund to help the family with funeral and medical expenses.

Kevin San, 16-year-young.  Life taken away way too soon.  Please keep Kevin, a speedy recovery of his sister and mother in your thoughts and prayers.  May Dennis and his family find peace and comfort during such a tragic time in their lives.
